Axel

My beautiful boy Axel 
We rescued him from a cage in the back of beyond where he had no human contact or left the cage for 4 years . This amazing boy adapted to quickly to life in home boarding where he mixed with so many dogs and for the first time in his life was with people who loved him. He was adopted and flew to a home in Scotland . They loved him too but he couldn’t cope with their children who were around 10 years old . So he was rehomed to a man with no children but his job folded and he had to move again 
So he is now in Kennels and back in a cage although a better one than he had in Cyprus 
Axel needs a forever adult only home . 
This is what his dad said about him 
Axel is a very intelligent, loyal, and calm mixed Lab/ Shephard male dog who flew from Cyprus to find his forever home 
Axel’s favourite things are walks and playing with a kong toy stuffed with treats. 
He is very food motivated and has been trained in basic commands using treats.
He needs an adult only family preferably a single person or couple. 
He walks well on the lead and can be let off the lead in traffic free areas. Axel will follow his ‘person’ so there is very little concern about running away.
He is very sociable and loves meeting other dogs and people when out on walks
Axel will chase cats and small animals but more out of curiosity than as prey but maybe best in a cat free home 
He is house trained and has had no issues in the house. He has not been crate trained and spent a lot of his early years in a cage so preferably he would love a bed in a room
