All about this dog…
Ntina
Kangals keep finding themselves in shelters, abandoned due to their size. And we made a promise to them to find them all loving homes. Here are just two of the kangals that have ended up in the same shelter. Next up we have Ntina. Similarly, she adores people, cuddles, attention. She is somewhat bigger than Keith - weighing approx 50kg. Ntina is easy to get along with and another dog adored by the shelter staff and volunteers. She was found as a stray and another one that we can’t understand the mentality behind simply abandoning a dog and leaving them to fend for themselves. Especially a girl of her size and with her coat, 40 degrees on the streets of Cyprus in the summer couldn’t have been easy for her. Ntina is friendly and placid around people and children but she will need an experienced handler due to her size, and any children will need to be over 12. She needs a home where she gets lots of cuddles but also long walks. She needs to be an only dog as she can be selective around other dogs. Given her temperament, she would likely be happier as an only dog anyway.
