Hello, I’m Stella. Could I be the one to fill your home with cuddles and joy? My journey to the shelter was a bit of a surprise—I was actually found after wandering into a safe trap meant for another dog! When I first arrived, the world felt very big and loud, and I was quite scared of everything around me. But with a little time and kindness, I have truly found my feet. Now, I am a sweet and cuddly girl who absolutely loves giving and receiving attention.
I am a gentle soul with a beautiful orange and white coat and a heart of gold. I am very happy to see the people I know, and while I can be a little shy with strangers at first, it doesn't take me long at all to realize when I’ve made a new friend. Once I know you’re friendly, I’m ready for all the head pats you can give!
I am a wonderful companion for other dogs, too. I play very nicely with my friends—especially those my size or smaller—and I am a total sweetheart in my kennel. I currently share my space and love to cuddle up with my roommate for naps. I have medium-to-low energy, so while I enjoy my walks and have a bit of a spring in my step, I am just as happy relaxing and being near the ones I love.
I am a very good girl on the lead and I’m already quite brave when it comes to car journeys! Because I have such a mellow and patient temperament, I would fit into almost any home. I’ve even spent time around a 3-year-old child and wasn't bothered at all, so I would be a wonderful addition to a family with children of any age. I am simply a happy, loving girl who is ready to find a "forever" sofa to curl up on.
