Hello, I’m Tom.
I’m a bright, affectionate young boy with a huge heart and an even bigger zest for life.

I’m a tan German Shepherd mix, approx 3 years old. My past wasn’t the kindest—I was left chained in a garden for far too long—but you would never guess it from the way I greet the world today. I’m confident, cheerful, and love nothing more than being close to people. Cuddles and affection are some of my favourite things.

I have leishmania which isn't a problem just managed with tablets. I’m doing well and ready for a future filled with love and activity. My energy levels are high, and I adore playtime—especially with dogs who enjoy fast, bouncy fun. I get along with most dogs, though intact adult males aren’t my favourite companions. Females, neutered males, and puppies are a much better fit for me.

Meeting new people comes easily to me—I’m friendly and enthusiastic from the start. I’m also great with children 5+, especially those happy to join in my games. I’m polite around food, happy to be handled, and I enjoy toys, particularly squeaky ones and anything I can chase. I’m good about sharing them too.

I listen well and know when I’m called. On the lead I can be strong because I’m excited, but with a harness and a bit of guidance I walk nicely. Car rides are something I really enjoy—hopping in and out is no problem, and watching the world go by from the window is a favourite hobby of mine.

Cats, however, are not for me, I ignore them when im out on a walk but if they are close I’m too tempted to chase them.

I’m comfortable sharing space with another dog, and I thrive in open areas where I can stretch my legs and play to my heart’s content.

My ideal home would be with an active family who can offer adventure, structure, and plenty of fun. In return, I’ll bring boundless affection, joy, and loyalty to your life.
