Yara is a strikingly beautiful young girl, born around 01/08/2024 and currently weighing 14.4kg.

She has a huge personality and a zest for life that shines through in everything she does.

She’s confident, playful, and full of joy, more of a “life-of-the-party, zoomie champion”.

She absolutely loves to run, explore, and experience the world. She is food-motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding, she’s eager to learn and engage. Once she’s had her playtime and burned off that puppy energy, she switches beautifully into cuddle mode. She is incredibly affectionate and truly adores quiet time snuggled up with her people.

Her foster mum says
“Yara is a very beautiful and sweet girl. She is extremely affectionate and loves greeting people and other dogs while out on walks. In the short time I’ve had her, she hasn’t reacted negatively to anything outside the house. She has grown so much in confidence over the past couple of weeks, and I know she will continue to make great progress.”

Yara would thrive in a home with access to a garden and plenty of opportunities for long walks and enriching activities. She is young and energetic, so she needs consistency, stimulation, and love to help her continue developing into the amazing dog she’s becoming.

She generally gets along well with male and female dogs, but in the home she can show some resource guarding around toys. For this reason, she would ideally be the only dog so she can fully relax, bond deeply, and feel secure. With time, patience, and positive training, this is something that can improve. She just needs understanding and guidance.
On the lead she can be strong and excitable, especially if she spots small wildlife but again, she is young and this will improve with training and consistency.

One of Yara’s most special qualities is her natural gentleness around children. She instinctively softens her behaviour, becoming calmer and more cuddly it’s truly lovely to see.
