Stratos ❤️  2 year old pointer cross / Male 

In foster in Hereford , UK 

Leishmania positive  .Fully treated .Such low levels, he maybe able to stop medication in 6 months !

Meeting  Stratos on a recent trip to Cyprus , I can honestly say this boy broke me .

Huddled in a compound with many other dogs , Stratos struggled to be seen .
The dogs rushed the fencing for attention , poor Stratos tried his best to get to the people giving some fuss. But he missed out , overcome by the crowd .His face was full of sorrow and sadness .The shelter team told me his passion is human interaction but rarely did he get it  .

I managed to get him out of the compound for some one to one time .His little face literally lit up when he saw I'd chosen him to come out .
He totally adored the attention , loved being fussed and stroked. He gave the best kisses ever .
He pulled at my heartstrings like few dogs do
I vowed to get him out .Stratos was lucky enough to be offered  a phenomenal foster home with one of our valued fosterers ! Fast forward March flight when Stratos was given is life opportunity to escape the bullied and trapped life he had 

To say Stratos has settled well would be an understatement!

 "Stratos can be quite a shy boy, but once he gives you his heart it's yours forever. He loves to play with his toys and loves a game of tug. He likes being on a long lead, but needs some more lead training, he is desperate to get off the lead but needs more recall training, once he gets a scent trail he is off, loves going in the undergrowth looking for birds. Chases birds and cats. Although he enjoys the company of other dogs when out, and can share his space with another dog he would be better being an only dog. He struggles with loud animated people so would be better with older children 10 or over. He can be left in the house doesnt chew or do anything he shouldn't. Goes to the door when he needs to go out.Hes learnt so much since being here . Hes so clever , picks things up quickly. He may have lived in a home before given his ease at settling into the home "

Stratos is so full of love in spite of all hes been through .He deserves this chance of a happy life .As team  Stratos ! we're determined to find his loving home . He couldn't be more  ready for this next and most exciting chapter to hIs new and beautiful life ❤️
