Maybe they decided they no longer wanted him.

His ideal home would be with a experienced adopter, either a single person, couple or family (Children 12 + years), an active home, with a large garden (he is medium to high energy).  He has had some basic training, but this will need to continued by adopter, he can be strong on a lead and needs training to continue to be less reactive to dogs.  He can not live with cats and needs to be an only dog.
