Hello, I’m Smudge! I am a very polite and sweet young pup who has been making everyone smile lately with my blossoming personality. I come from a very special family—my mum is Lisa, and several of my siblings have already found their forever homes! It’s a bit bittersweet for me; while I’m so happy they are safe, I’m still here waiting for my turn. I watch the lucky ones leave, hoping that today will finally be the day someone chooses me too. Hearing that Felix has gained so much confidence in his home, and knowing that Rosie and Chip are doing so well, gives me so much hope. My brother Arty is even in the UK in foster care right now, getting extra help to learn that the world isn't so scary.

I am a gentle and well-mannered lad who is already a star on my walks. I walk very nicely on the lead and I’m a clever boy who already knows the routine—I even know exactly when it’s time to head back to my pen! While I have a playful side, I would describe myself as having medium energy. I am quite a relaxed guy who enjoys the quiet moments just as much as a stroll in the fresh air.

I have a very special heart, and I’ve been a wonderful "big brother" to my roommate, Takis. Takis is a very scared dog, and the humans here say they can see my confidence rubbing off on him every day! Because I’m so helpful to my friends, I would be a great companion for another dog. The only thing I ask is that I can enjoy my dinner in peace—I get a little worried that others might want my food, so I prefer to eat in my own quiet space where I feel secure. I have recently discovered how much I love to cuddle, and I am becoming more affectionate every single day. Please don't let me be the sibling who is left behind.
