Socks is a beautiful 2.5-year-old German Shepherd cross (approx. DOB 10/03/2023), weighing 28 kg. Her story is one of quiet resilience and unshakable hope.

For seven long months, she wandered alone through a small village — scared, hungry, and unsure of what tomorrow would bring. Every morning, one of our wonderful volunteers stopped to feed her, earning her trust little by little. After months of gentle patience and love, SOCKS finally allowed herself to be rescued. She’s been safe with us ever since.

It’s now been seven months since that day, and SOCKS is still waiting for someone to see in her what we do — a heart full of love, loyalty, and affection; a truly beautiful soul inside and out. She’s a gentle, soulful girl who adores cuddles and leans into you just to feel close. Like so many Shepherds, she forms deep, lasting bonds with her person — the kind that stay forever.

SOCKS is good with cats and would thrive best as the only dog in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention she’s been waiting for.

Socks is currently in Cyprus looking for a home in UK. She will be neutered, vaccinated, chipped, treated for parasites, have her own pet passport and rescue back up from Saving Souls Animal Rescue.
